For the launch of La Grande Année 2018, Partisan du Sens conceived a creative territory inspired by one of Maison Bollinger’s founding gestures, oak barrel vinification.

Here, the barrel becomes a visual signature in its own right, a symbol of materiality, craftsmanship and light, able to express the depth of the cuvée and radiate across a 360° universe.

The concept first took shape through the creation of a strong, immediate and structuring key visual. Around the bottle, the barrel staves open into a luminous halo, casting light on the wine and the craftsmanship that shapes it.
Balancing the intensity of wood, the glow of light and the precision of composition, this visual territory expresses the richness of La Grande Année 2018 while establishing a distinctive, stately and versatile signature.
This visual language was then extended into the design of a presentation box, where wood, light and detail interact with restraint and precision. A refined and precious object, conceived as the natural extension of the concept.

The creative territory then took on a new dimension through a series of videos.
The barrel, already central to the key visual, becomes a true narrative thread. It brings rhythm, depth and movement.
This sense of movement reveals another facet of the cuvée’s personality, an expression that is dense, luminous and shaped by the precision of the gesture.

Designed from the outset to unfold consistently across every touchpoint, the concept gave rise to a 360° activation.
It was rolled out across window displays, merchandising elements and a travel retail stand. Within this space, the visual territory becomes an experience, extending the dialogue between materiality, light and craftsmanship.
