The background
Champagne Barons de Rothschild, born from the unique alliance of the three Rothschild branches renowned for crafting legendary wines, has entrusted Partisan du Sens with the overhaul of its visual identity and the redesign of its product ranges and cuvées.
Following an in-depth strategic review of its brand positioning, Champagne Barons de Rothschild has identified three key objectives to guide the agency:
-Strengthen the brand’s presence in the high-end market.
-Develop a distinctive branding that remains aligned with the Rothschild family’s heritage and aesthetic.
-Enhance the brand’s desirability in a competitive landscape marked by the premiumization of champagne houses.
The creation
The agency’s creation initially focuses on the transversal identity of the famous champagne house, with a reorganization of the brand block elements to highlight the eponymous name of the family estate. To establish its strong family identity and further associate it with champagne, the connection between the brand block and the crest is reinforced. The crest is subtly reworked, refined, and simplified to amplify the name Barons de Rothschild.

Partisan du Sens also assisted the house in renovating the packaging identity of its fine wines. Champagne codes are reinforced, particularly with the return of paper labels featuring gold accents, highlighting the estate's premium positioning. The craft spirit and focus on terroirs are further emphasized. The capsules are shortened, and their elements lightened, reflecting the modern character of Barons de Rothschild and its premium evolution. In line with a reworked range architecture, the agency focused on the color coding of the different ranges and cuvées, ensuring better readability between them and strengthening the brand's unique character

Special attention was paid to the quintessence of Champagne Barons de Rothschild, the Rare Collection, made up of limited-production vintage wines, with packaging that strikes a perfect balance between screen printing, paper, and gold accents to enhance its preciousness. A wooden box, where the reworked crest takes center stage, completes the luxurious and craft approach of this family estate.
